Očetje, sinovi z ramo ob rami,
od bratov izdani, zdaj tiho leže.

Globoko v gozdovih, skrito očem,
mrtvih duhovi se iz sna prebude.
Iz brezna v nebo dviga se pesem,
nemi je krik neštetih glasov.


Glej dviga se prah in žarijo oči,
ko vihar maščevanja privzdigne pesti!
Zbito zemljo predrejo roke,
ki lačno pravice jih vodi srce!
